🗺️Plot & site
North, East, NE preferred
- •Pick plot shape that is regular (square or rectangle) when possible.
- •Leave more open space in North and East; keep South & West slightly heavier.
- •Check road hitting the plot (Veedhi Shoola): NE and E roads are favourable.
Avoid: Irregular cuts, heavy construction blocking the North-East corner.
💧Water & tanks
North, East, North-East
- •Overhead tanks and borewells do best in North, East, or North-East.
- •Keep North side relatively open and light for positive flow.
Avoid: Water storage in South-West without expert guidance.
🚪Main entrance
North, East, North-East
- •Main door should be the largest, well-lit, and open smoothly.
- •Use good-quality wood; keep entrance clean and clutter-free.
- •Nameplate and welcome area in the East or North wall is auspicious.
Avoid: Broken door, darkness at entrance, water feature blocking the door.
🛋️Living room
East, North, North-East
- •Face East or North when seated for daily family time.
- •Heavy sofa and TV unit towards West or South-West.
- •Keep the room bright; avoid clutter near the main view.
- •Best in South-West for stability and restful sleep.
- •Place bed head towards South or West; sleep with head South if possible.
- •Keep room calm colours: cream, light pink, or soft earth tones.
Avoid: Mirror or TV directly facing the bed.
📚Children's room
West, North-West, North-East
- •Study desk facing East or North helps focus.
- •Bed in South-West corner of the room; avoid beam over bed.
- •Use cheerful but not overly dark wall colours.
