- Property type, facing direction, floor number
- Floor plan image (only if you upload one)
- Email & name (only if you create an account)
- Payment info (handled securely by Razorpay, we never store card numbers)
How we use your data
- To generate your Vaastu analysis report
- To save reports in your dashboard (if signed in)
- To improve our AI analysis quality
- To process payments for paid plans
- We do NOT sell your data to anyone
How we protect it
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS) on all pages
- Passwords stored with secure hashing
- Floor plans processed by AI and stored only if you save a report
- You can delete your account and reports anytime
Your control
- Use the site without signing up (guest mode)
- Skip floor plan upload, basic report still works

1. Who We Are
GharVaastu ("we", "us") is a complete Vaastu platform for Indian homes. We help homeowners, buyers, and professionals evaluate property layouts.
2. Information We Collect
- Property data: address, city, property type, facing direction, floor number, notes
- Floor plans: images you upload (optional)
- Account data: name, email, password (if you sign up)
- Payment data: processed by Razorpay, we receive order IDs, not card numbers
- Usage data: pages visited, reports generated (for improving the service)
3. How We Use Your Information
- Generate Vaastu analysis reports
- Save and display your report history (signed-in users)
- Process subscription payments
- Send account-related emails (sign-up, password reset)
- Improve AI analysis accuracy
We never sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
- OpenAI: processes floor plan images and chat questions for analysis
- Google Maps: address autocomplete and location (if enabled)
- Razorpay: payment processing
- Hosting provider: stores encrypted database backups
5. Data Retention
Reports are kept while your account is active. Guest reports may be deleted after 30 days. You can request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@gharvaastu.com.
6. Your Rights
Under applicable Indian law (including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder), you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data. Contact us at privacy@gharvaastu.com. We respond within 7 business days where practicable.
7. Grievance redressal
For complaints about content, conduct, payments, or data on our platform, contact our Grievance Officer: Saiteja Juluri at saitejajuluri36@gmail.com. We aim to acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 15 days.
